Sending Love
This practice can be done at the end of any type of meditation or anytime you wish you could do better or be of more help.
Sit quietly and quiet your mind.
Let your face smile and your heart center fill up with good feeling.
When you feel your heart center is full and shining bring to mind the people that are closest to you and send them loving energy
- Fill your heart again and now shine out to your family members.
- Fill your heart again and send out love as light to others you care about.
- Fill your heart again and send love to people places and other creatures that you have no strong feeling toward.
- Fill your heart center again and send loving energy to people, places and things you have difficulty with.
- Fill your heart center again to the fullest and send out shining light and your best feelings of joy and caring to people, places and things you really hate and have a great deal of difficulty with.
- Fill your heart one last time and let that energy
- fill your chest,
- fill your belly,
- stream down your arms and legs,
- and radiate out your fingers and toes.
- Feel it purifying everything it touches and helping you to feel the flexibility and power to care for all beings.
